How important is the fruit routine?
Have you ever noticed the energy you gain by consuming fresh juices ,drinks or cut fruits?? May it be a juice or just a simple lemonade, fruits boost up our energy levels. I wasn’t very keen at fresh drinks or fruits until I discovered a drastic change that occurred in my body while following day-day fresh fruit drink/cut fruit dietary. I would strongly recommend to include either cut fruits or fresh fruit drinks in your daily diet chart.
Direct consumption of fruits would be more energetic and effective compared to the fruits cut down as juices. But, considering few constraints of time and work, the quickest possible method is to blend the fruits to a juice/drink. This would save eating time and cutting time as well. There is one more important point to note : While making a fresh juice or drink, use natural sugars (fruit itself or jaggery), thereby reducing the intake of sugar crystals.
3 ways to include fruits in your diet:
1. A large bowl of assorted fruits would a top choice:
Combinational fruits mixed with a tablespoon of honey/maple syrup.
A mix of Fruits, oats, dry fruits, honey and flavored yoghurt.
Dry fruits, fruits, granola/ rolled oats/ whole grain mixed with milk.
A cup of dry fruits including fresh dates and fruits, mixed with a chocolate Nutella.
2. A breakfast Smoothie:
Choice of any 2 fruits blended along with 1 teaspoon of honey, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1 tablespoon yoghurt, walnuts, almond and raisins.
Choice of any 2 fruits blended along with 1 teaspoon of honey, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1/2 cup milk, 1 tablespoon yoghurt, walnuts, almond and raisins.
3. Fresh juice, milkshake & lassi :
Any fruit blended without adding water or sugar.
Any fruit blended along with 1/2 cup milk without adding water or sugar.
Lassi must be made with the fruit that perfectly blends with the taste of yoghurt. I usually prefer mangoes.
