Cut N wrap

Serves: 2 ; Preparation Time : 20min

Cut N wrap is a simple and attractive dish. Vegetables are stuffed in a roti that is cut in strips. It has a combination of toppings like sweet sauce and cheese. Again, any extra topping of your choice could also be added.


Roti / chapatti (Indian flat bread) dough:

  • Wheat flour – 1 cup
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Oil – 1 teaspoon
  • Water – as per requirement

Vegetable Stuffing &Topping:

  • Mixed veggies chopped (Cabbage, carrot, green peas, beans, corn kernels) – 1 cup 
  • Cumin powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Red chilli powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Mozzarella cheese sheets – 2 No.s
  • Sweet sauce / Ketchup – 1/2 cup
  • Oil – as per requirement


  • Add all the above mentioned Roti ingredients. Knead the dough well by adding sufficient amount of water.
  • Divide the dough into small equal portions in order to make rotis.
  • Flatten all the balls one by one, using a rolling pin. keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add chopped mixed veggies , fry it for a min on a high flame.
  • Add cumin powder, red chilli powder and salt. Mix well and fry for 3-5 min on a medium flame and turn it off once it is cooked.
  • Take a flattened roti, place some portion of veggie mixture in the middle. Cut the roti into strips with a knife on the left side and then slide it onto the right side. The veg stuffing is now closed with the strips. Seal the strips by pressing with a finger. Like wise, prepare all the wraps.

  • Take a pan and toast the wraps on both the sides.
  • Take a baking tray and arrange the wraps. Top them with mozzarella cheese and sweet sauce.
  • Bake the wraps for 5-8 min
  • Cut N wrap is ready to serve.
